Five Emperors Coins
The Five Emperors Coins consist of the Tongbao coins from the Shunzhi, Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, and Jiaqing emperors. Made of copper, these coins are associated with the metal element, making them highly regarded for their ability to absorb energy. The coins' shape, with an outer circle and inner square, symbolizes heaven and earth, respectively. The inclusion of the emperor's name represents the unity of heaven, earth, and humanity, believed to carry powerful energy. The period from Shunzhi to Jiaqing is considered the prosperous era of the Qing Dynasty, symbolizing stability and prosperity.
These coins are said to have various functions, including attracting wealth, promoting career advancement, warding off evil, and stabilizing the home. They can be used in various locations such as homes, shops, or cars, and many people carry them for personal protection.
Placement Order: The coins should be arranged from left to right in the sequence "Shunzhi – Kangxi – Yongzheng – Qianlong – Jiaqing." Another method is to arrange them in a cross shape, placing the Shunzhi coin in the center and the other four coins at each cardinal point. They are typically placed at the "Tianmen" (Heavenly Gate) area of the home.
